What does sat/vB mean?
Satoshis per virtual byte is a fee rate. Multiply it by your transaction’s virtual size to estimate the total fee in satoshis. One bitcoin is 100 million satoshis.
Why might an estimate be unavailable?
Fee estimates need recent network observations to estimate inclusion rates. During initial blockchain synchronization, we intentionally show unavailable instead of filling the gap with an external API.
Does a higher fee guarantee the next block?
No. Block timing, miner policy, transaction relationships and changing demand can all affect inclusion.
