What we collect and why

Cached reports and transaction receipts

Full-history reports and the link between a report and your account remain private. Completed reports and their downloads expire 24 hours after they are ready; unfinished scans expire after 24 hours. Download your own copy before the displayed expiry. Expired access is blocked immediately, and routine cleanup purges unreferenced cached files and history within the next scheduled cleanup. Shared public facts can remain while another unexpired report needs them. New backups exclude these temporary report-cache rows; older backups rotate on their existing schedule. We cache the underlying public blockchain facts and generated downloads to avoid repeated scans. Reusing those facts for another report does not disclose your account details or private notes. A cached report records its snapshot block; updating it checks newer history and may require rebuilding after a chain change.

Transaction receipts contain public Bitcoin facts and a verification link. Cached receipt download links expire after 24 hours; you can generate a new receipt after expiry. They do not include your account email or profile. Anyone with a generated receipt download link can download that receipt. Printing or downloading a private address report does not create a public share link.

Private investigations and public sharing

Account watchlists and saved investigations are private to your account. Downloading or printing a graph does not publish it. If you explicitly create a public share link, anyone with the link can view the published graph snapshot, including its starting address, visible scripts/addresses, transactions and amounts. Account email, profile, watchlist labels and saved notes are not included.

Share links expire after 30 days and can be revoked from the sharing controls. Revocation stops future access through our shared page and image endpoints. It cannot remove copies already downloaded, reposted or cached by social platforms.

Cookies and local storage

We use an essential session cookie for sign-in, short-lived authentication-flow cookies, and browser storage for preferences such as theme and reduced motion. Current account sessions expire after seven days unless revoked earlier. Cloudflare may use security cookies or challenge information to protect the site. Blocking essential cookies can prevent account features from working.

Services involved in delivery

We host the explorer and its Bitcoin data services with Hetzner and use Cloudflare for DNS, HTTPS delivery and security. Google handles Google sign-in. WalletConnect/Reown supports compatible wallet connections. Telegram receives messages when you opt into its alerts. Google Fonts may receive ordinary network request information when your browser loads fonts. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy policy, potentially in countries other than yours.

We do not use an external block-explorer API for the blockchain lookups described on this site. This does not mean optional sign-in, wallet connection, hosting or message delivery has no third-party service involved.

Advertising and paid services

Advertising placements are reserved on free explorer pages, but no advertising scripts are enabled at this launch. We do not currently use advertising cookies or sell account information to advertisers. Optional paid tracing access uses Bitcoin invoices through BTCPay Server. Payments are verified before access activates. We retain the necessary purchase and payment records for accounting, security, dispute resolution and applicable obligations, including where account access is closed. Public blockchain records cannot be deleted by us. We will update advertising disclosures and consent controls before enabling advertising scripts.

Retention and your choices

We keep account and workspace records while needed to provide your account and maintain security, resolve disputes or meet applicable obligations. Logs and backups have separate retention/rotation schedules; deletion from an active account may take additional time to pass through backup rotation. Disconnecting Telegram removes the active delivery destination. Expired or revoked share links stop being publicly accessible even if an internal record remains for security and operational purposes.

You can edit your profile and preferences, revoke sessions and API keys, disconnect Telegram and revoke public share links in your account. To request access, correction, account deletion or other applicable privacy rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify control of the account before acting. Some public blockchain information cannot be erased from the Bitcoin network by us.

Community forum

If you join the forum, we store your account-linked public username, posts, images, moderation reports and abuse-prevention counters. Approved posts and usernames are public; your account email is not displayed. Uploaded images are compressed, scanned and re-encoded before storage. We retain discussions while published and may keep hidden text and moderation records for abuse handling. Hidden images are removed from active storage, but backups may retain them until backup rotation. Contact [email protected] for correction or removal requests. Do not post private keys, seed phrases or personal documents.

Other disclosures

We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to protect the service and its users. No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure. The service is not directed at children; do not create an account if you cannot lawfully agree to its terms. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and identify the effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected]. See also our Terms of Use.
