TERMS OF USE

Clear terms for an open ledger.

Effective 3 November 2026

These terms apply to mybitcoinexplorer.com, operated under the MyBitcoinExplorer name. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

Reports and receipts

A full address-history report covers the exact address script through its recorded Bitcoin block. Reports are temporary: download your files within 24 hours after completion, before the displayed automatic deletion deadline. Unfinished scans expire after 24 hours. Reopening does not extend retention. Full scans are subject to queue, storage and processing limits; an oversized or interrupted scan remains incomplete. It does not establish the identity of an owner or include every address in a wallet. Quick graphs and on-screen flow pages have visible size limits. Full reports remain incomplete until verification and cached downloads finish. Queue and scanning time estimates can change, and blockchain reorganizations may require a rebuild.

Transaction receipts record public blockchain facts and status at generation time. Receipt download files are retained for 24 hours; save your PDF or generate it again later. They are not merchant invoices, proof of a purchase, proof of identity or a guarantee of settlement. Pending transactions may change or disappear. Cached documents identify their recorded snapshot or generation time; check the live transaction for current status.

What the service provides

MyBitcoinExplorer provides Bitcoin blockchain information, educational content, data tools and optional account features. The public explorer is free. When available, optional Pro access increases the distinct-address tracing allowance shown on the pricing and billing pages. It does not remove analysis bounds, rate limits, data limitations or availability constraints.

We do not custody Bitcoin, manage your wallet or provide investment, legal or tax advice. We do not ask for seed phrases or private keys. Accounts use Google sign-in.

Purchases, renewals and access

Dodo Payments processes hosted checkout. Monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and amount disclosed at checkout until cancelled, with a maximum provider term of 20 years. You can manage your subscription and cancellation through Billing. Cancelling renewal retains access through the paid period, unless a refund, chargeback or payment reversal removes that entitlement.

Address credit packs are one-time purchases. Each pack includes 25 additional distinct-address analyses and email/Telegram alerts for 90 days after verified payment. Unused credits expire. An address already counted in the current UTC calendar month does not consume another credit. Credits do not remove graph, queue, data availability, rate or report-retention limits.

Prices may be adjusted for billing country and local currency. Review the final price, applicable taxes and renewal terms at checkout. Returning to our website does not itself prove payment: access opens after server verification. If a payment succeeds but access is missing, contact [email protected] with your payment reference. Do not send card details.

For service problems, cancellation or refund requests, contact [email protected] or use the billing portal. Applicable statutory refund and consumer rights remain unaffected. Bitcoin checkout is currently unavailable.

Data and tracing limitations

Data can be delayed, incomplete, temporarily unavailable or affected by a chain reorganization. The mempool is an observation rather than a single network-wide record. Confirmation and fee estimates are not promises.

Tracing shows bounded input/output connections at a recorded snapshot. Partial graphs omit activity outside their stated limits. Connections do not establish real-world identity, common ownership, recipient-payment amounts or wrongdoing. Do not make consequential decisions from an unexplained graph or a single explorer result. Educational material may contain errors and should be checked against appropriate primary sources.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in methods and API keys secure and for activity you authorize through your account. Do not impersonate another person, bypass quotas, attack availability, access another account without permission, or use the service to harass people or break applicable law. Do not submit private keys, seed phrases or other secrets into public data tools.

We may apply rate limits, disable abusive keys or accounts, pause features, or restrict access where needed for security, reliability or legal obligations. Temporary request limits will normally return a message explaining when to retry. Monthly address quotas and graph limits are displayed in the relevant feature.

Images, exports and sharing

You may download, print and share generated graph images and transaction exports. Keep the site attribution/watermark when sharing a branded image. Public blockchain facts are not claimed as exclusive property of MyBitcoinExplorer. Our original articles, illustrations, interface and branding remain subject to applicable intellectual-property rights.

Creating a public trace link deliberately makes that snapshot accessible to anyone with the link. Share only what you intend to publish. Links can be revoked or expire; downloaded or externally cached copies may remain. You are responsible for the context you add when posting an image, and must not present a bounded graph as proof of identity or criminal activity.

Third-party services

Google sign-in, Telegram alerts and links to social platforms involve third-party services with their own terms. Their availability and presentation, including social preview cards, are outside our control.

Availability and responsibility

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted operation or perfect accuracy and are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on incomplete data, third-party services or your wallet decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

Changes, ending use and contact

You may stop using the service at any time and request account deletion through our contact address. We may update these terms, identify the new effective date here, and explain material changes where appropriate. These terms operate subject to applicable law; they do not remove mandatory rights in your jurisdiction.
